Adrienne has been sewing ever since she was in her tweens. Hobbit-hoods, small patchwork sacks for elvish bread, and barbie bikinis were her focus in design until 2019, when Ada made her first real-person bikini. Since then, Assemblé Workshop (formerly Ada Swim Co.) has produced several collections, including a collaboration with oil painter Ruth Speer.
Ada (as close friends call her) enjoys and draws inspiration from ballet, 90’s artists like Enya and and Yanni, and loves to spend hours gardening, reading, and sewing.
